Hi I am new to the community.
I started a major lifestyle change Sept 15th last year and have been doing really great so far. After back to back pregnancies and 2 very stressful years (marriage and money issues) I had packed on tons of weight. I have approx 150 pds to lose. Not sure exactly since it has been so long since I have been anywhere close to my "ideal" weight. I really have no idea what it is.
I cut out all soda, fast food, and any "junk" food. I cook more and eat tons more veggies and fruits. My daily calorie goal is 1200. So far I have been able to stick to that 95% of the time. My main problem is going under not over. I bought a treadmill and work out at least one hour a day (usually 1 1/2 hours) 4 days a week. I also do some minimal stretching and hand weights. I plan to incorporate yoga or pillates in the near future.
As of this morning (I weigh on sundays) I am down 43 lbs and I am thrilled! This is the first time I have been able to stick with a diet change. I am determined this time.

I think support is important and since in sept we moved away from friends and family in California and moved to Michigan where we dont know anyone I am a little lacking in that dept. would love to get to know people thourgh the community.
